“A” as an Association and “Cross” as an intersection. A simple way to say that today we live a crossroads of migrating peoples and cultures that come together. We are a small group, from different professions, and have varied experiences from the south of the world, all with a passion for other cultures.

The Consorzio Comunità Brianza (CCB) (Brianza Community Consortium) is a consortium of social cooperatives that promote initiatives and projects in the social field. It participates in projects on a national scale, manages and delivers, both directly and through the associated cooperatives, social and health services and educational services for public and private clients. There are 55 municipalities in the Province of Monza and Brianza with around 850,000 inhabitants. These numbers give an idea of the size the CCB’s area of activity. They are also active in the bordering areas of Lecco, Como and Bergamo in conjuncttion with related consortia

The Cooperativa Lotta contro L’Emarginazione (Cooperative Fighting against Marginalisation) was born from a pledge by the citizens of Parpagliona di Sesto San Giovanni. Since 1980 it has been pioneering and managing innovative social intervention projects and reception and care services for people with disabilities and mental illness, teenagers and young people, adults in difficulty, drug addicts, alcoholics, foreigners and victims of trafficking.

ENGIM operates in Italy, Europe and in developing countries, with a particular focus on the importance of education, the development of skills, and the generation of new ideas, which are key tools for human development, economic growth and productivity.

FOCSIV is the Federation of Christian Organisations International Voluntary Service. Today it is made up of 86 organisations that operate in over 80 countries throughout the world on development projects over multiple sectors; in Italy it promotes awareness and education campaigns and works tirelessly on institutional lobbying to promote social justice for all men and women on this planet
